I'm an actor, writer, improviser, singer and alumna of Toronto's Second City Mainstage, where I wrote and performed in four Mainstage revues. I also created and performed to rave reviews in Ashley With a "Y", a one woman show in which I completely improvised a cabaret of songs. The show was named NOW Magazine's Number 1 Comedy Show that year.
I've performed with the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and with The Toronto Symphony Orchestra at Roy Thomson Hall in The Second City Guide to the Symphony. I also play everyone's favourite pizza lady Delivery Debbie on The Emmy-winning series, Odd Squad, and was featured in the fan-favourite "Jackie Daytona" episode of What We Do In The Shadows. You can hear my voice on the cartoons The Ridonculous Race, Arthur, Z-Squad and Beywheelz.
I've written television episodes for CBC's This Hour Has 22 Minutes, PBS's Emmy-winning series Odd Squad, Nickelodeon's Zoofari, and Apple's The Snoopy Show. My original musical The Stars of Mars (book & lyrics) won the Stage West Musical award from The Playwrights Guild of Canada. I'm also a guest-host, writer, and panelist the CBC's Because News. I was shortlisted for CBC's "Canada Writes" BloodLines competition, and have been published in The Toronto Star, and NOW Magazine. I’ve won two Canadian Comedy Awards, and have been nominated for two Dora awards in addition to multiple other Canadian Comedy Award nominations for my work with The Second City and other theatres.
I have a BA in Linguistics & Anthropology from McGill University.
